It’s been weeks since I’ve updated but I’m just letting everyone know that I’m alive and well haha. Sorry I disappeared and I have yet to reply back to my comments from the past two previous blogs…which I will do soon. Work has unfortunately taken up most of my time which sucks but it’s money, right?
I finally changed the theme, it’s the “tumblr-ish” theme I was talking about in my earlier blog, although it wasn’t supposed to look like that but that’s how it eventually turned out. But I still like it, it’s a lot simpler than my usual layouts. I sort of cheated and used the same font haha, but what can I say? I like it! Just yesterday my domain expired and I was freaking out since I didn’t do a back-up of the site. So I renewed it quickly and eventually everything came back on! Shoutout to Aashni for helping me out.
So what have I been up to lately? Well a few weekends ago I went to an island nearby my town and spend the weekend there with some friends. I’m happy to say that I got a little tan but unfortunately I burned….for the first time! Being Hispanic, the sun is usually on my side and I’d never burn. Sucks that I can’t say that this time. I burnt the back of my neck and my nose. I pealed and I was pretty much disgusted and was like “How do white people handle this?!” ahaha no offense. During that weekend I spent some time at the beach, went to a few restaurants and biked throughout the island. Biking for 2 hours unfortunately killed my knees. I never bike and I think I should start doing it regularly because I was practically unable to walk from the pain. We were going to go to a bar so we started pre-drinking, but me and my friend were in so much pain from biking that we wanted to go to sleep as everyone went out. I tried not to be a buzz-kill but I was in so much pain that I couldn’t deal with it anymore and eventually passed out.
The following morning I woke up and the pain was gone but everyone was laughing at some videos they took the night before. Meanwhile I was passed out they pulled pranks on me and my friend who was also passed out. They put dead beetles in my ear and put a bike on me and some other stupidities. Of course I was pissed, but whatever can’t be mad forever. It was immature, but everyone was drunk so I understand…sort of.
