So yesterday my domain contest finished and I have the results of the winners. Although the contest wasn’t much of a success since barely anyone entered, I still went through with it and as promised – domains will be awarded. The 1st place winner is Yvonne from Eleventh Day and the second place winner is Jennifer from Sugar Baby. Thanks to everyone for participating! All the banners can be taken down now. I’ll get in contact with the winners sometime this week to discuss their awards.
I’m a big fan of resource sites that offer wordpress themes, so I decided to work on some of my own and put them on the site for bloggers who don’t really have the time to make a wordpress theme of their own. I’ve been working on an Eminem wordpress theme and a Nicki Minaj theme. Well not actually working on since they’re both done but I’m waiting to re-design the site a little before I post them. If you guys have any suggestions or ideas for celebrities or styles for my future themes, let me know.
I’ve been working on a layout recently for the site, but it reminds me of some Tumblr layouts, the way some of them are designed. I’ve even noticed a lot of other sites that have the same style so I’m not sure I even want to use it anymore since I like to be original and do my own thing. If I don’t end up using it I think I might just give it out as a wordpress theme on the site. We’ll see.
It’s so late right now and I’m massively tired because it’s nearly 5 o’clock in the morning, so I’m gonna go to bed since I have work later (I sleep all day and work all night. Sucks but I’m making some dough so it’s worth it). Actually to quickly update you guys on the job, it’s actually turning out not so bad, I’m getting used to the work and I’m even feeling like I’m in better shape. Which is good, because I’ll be signing up for a gym membership soon to get my GTL on haha. But it’s long hours and it’s consumed most of my time which sucks but in the long run I’ll be alright. Anyways, good night…or good morning.

Wow! I won 2nd place? o.o I didn’t expect to win anything. lol I think the contest went well.
I mean, you didn’t get 200 entries, but sometimes, just a few are great too. 
Plus, everyone really appreciated the opportunity.
But let me know when you send me the email! Cause I haven’t gotten one yet and I’m not really sure what I won in 2nd place. lol

Congratulations to the winners! I guess that’s a good thing for the participants though – not much competition?
I like Tumblr, and I don’t think it’s a bad thing if your new layout looks a bit like a Tumblr theme. There are so many Tumblr themes out there and they’re all different. I think you should just stick with what you think is best.
I started offering WordPress themes but they were really just a dump for my leftover bits and bobs. So I felt kind of mean putting that up for visitors.
But recently I revamped that section and cleaned up my WordPress themes… I think people will be happy if it’s something they can modify a bit. Most people seem to want to make themes ‘their own’ these days.
My dad works night shift so I think he feels just what you’re feeling! I don’t work very many hours but as you said, you’re making money. I’d be happy to earn money for my work, if I have to make a few sacrifices for time and such, that’s okay. We all need money to live.. XD

Sorry that you didn’t get very many entrants; I advertised it a few times, I know. Maybe next time, eh? Make entrants blog about the event so their visitors have a more chance of seeing your button/advertisement.
I’ve never made celebrity layouts before (I always just stuck with CSS or added drawings in it); that in mind, I don’t really know any celebrities. Is that sad? I mean I know the super popular ones but sometimes people ask, “Do you know ___?” where I say no and they list all the movies they’ve been in and I haven’t seen those either. LOL like, what.
I don’t know what I’m talking about by the way. It’s 6:35 in the morning.
But layouts are good! I’m learning how to make Tumblr themes myself; easy for the most part.
I recently got a job as well so whoo! Things are turning over for us. At least you’ve learned to accept your job so it’s not so bad anymore. That’s probably how I would have thought it was; you gain a lot of muscle from lifting boxes all day.

You should totally start a music blog! But considering how busy you already are, I don’t know if you’d be able to update it
yes, my music tastes will probably be different to yours.. but oh well! I’ll find music I like.. eventually.. I should really add that to my (never ending) list of things to do! haha
